I found this book very interesting and a quick read. This is a topic that I just realized exists, when I attended a cousin’s service at a local Orthodox Shul and I was surprised to find a poster in the Ladies room that said if you are a victim of abuse call this hotline number for help. It was then I realized they have the same issues as any other group .

Hi Bonnie, I have not quite finished the book and am finding it extremely upsetting. I would like to think life in the Chassidic community is not really as it is potrayed in the book, yet I guess I know better. How sad and disturbing!
