Thank you Audrey! The Girls by Lori Lansens is the story of Rose and Ruby who were joined at the head. After their teenage, unwed mother abandoned them, the twins were adopted and raised by the nurse who cared for their mother. She was determined that they would walk and have as normal a life as possible. Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese is the story of Marion and Shiva Stone, conjoined twins who were seperated at birth. When their mother, a nun dies during child birth and their father diassapears, the boys are raised by two Indian doctors. Cutting For Stone was a book club favorite!
