Where Is Your Favorite Reading Spot?

Filed under: Literary Tidbits — susanbright @ 11:26 am

I love my bed! There is no place that I would rather read. Whether it is late at night or first thing in the morning. Propping up a few pillows behind my head and pulling my down comforter up to my chin, what could be any better? The fact that it is a frigid 30 some degrees outside may have influenced my answer just a bit. Where is your favorite place to read?

  1. I love to read in bed too.I also like to read in the morning in my living room with a cup of coffee before everyone gets up. Cathy

  2. My favorite place to read is on the family room couch, snuggled up with a soft blanket throw and a pillow that I grab from another room. It’s comfortable and if I just happen to doze off, well, that’s fine too. From the couch I can see out to the patio and catch a glimpse of a squirrel or the blue jays looking for their peanuts.

  3. It all depends on the time of year. During the winter, I love to curl up on the sofa in front of the fire, usually with one or two cats cuddled next to me. In the summer, I like to read outside, or on the couch in my sunroom.

  6. I like to read in my comfortable chair right by the fireplace with my cat on my lap.
