This Month’s Book: Cutting For Stone

Everyone is raving about Abraham Verghese’s most recent book Cutting For Stone. Cutting For Stone is described as a love story, medical story and family saga. Marion and Shiva are conjoined twins seperated at birth.  When their mother, an Indian nun dies during child birth and their father, a British surgeon abandons them, the twins are left to be raised by the staff of the Missing Hospital in Ethiopia.

Cutting For Stone has won several awards and is on the New York Times Best Seller List. Please join us in reading Cutting For Stone.
