Hooked On The Millennium Trilogy!

Filed under: Book Recomendations,The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo — susanbright @ 5:17 pm

Warning: Stieg Larsson’s books are absolutely addicting. You cannot read just one, and the more you read, the more addicting they become! Our book club read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the 1st book in Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy in April. Some of our members caught the Lisbeth Salander fever right away and moved right on to read The Girl Who Played With Fire.   I took a  break and read a few other books on my “to read” list first.  When I did finally pick up The Girl Who Played With Fire,  I knew that I was in trouble! Whereas The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo took a little while to really get into the story, The Girl Who Played With Fire was exciting from the very first page.  I was hooked! I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to finish it and see what was going to happen. I took the book with me wherever I went. I stayed up late at night reading until I could barely keep my eyes open! Finally I came to the end of the book! What an ending! What a cliff hanger! Stieg Larrson was a genius. You cannot finish book #2 without running right out to get book #3. It is that good, and that exciting! Now I am staying up all hours of the night reading The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest! I am totally hooked! I don’t know what I am going to do when I finish this book. I sure hope the rumors are true and there is a fourth book floating around out there, just waiting to be published!
