The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield had me hooked from page 1! I am totally captivated by this book, which is full of twists and turns! When Margaret Lea, an amateur writer working in her fathers book store is chosen by Vida Winter, “one of the world’s most famous living authors” to write her life story, Margaret packs her bag and travels to Vida’s home in Yorkshire. The Thirteenth Tale is a mystery involving ghosts, lies and family secrets. We are meeting to discuss it on Friday the 13th. Coincidence……… or not!
