When Michael Rosenheim visits his elderly father Heshel, who is suffering from Alzheimers, he is given a box of his father’s journals. Michael begins to realize that everything he had always believed about his father’s past was in question. Was he really a concentration survivor as he had always been told or was he actually a Nazi posing as a Jew? Fascinating read!
I read this book a few months ago and thought it was fascinating! Made me really want to talk to all of my relatives and find out “the truth” about their lives before it’s too late…

Hi Jessica, Thanks for blogging with us.Hopefully no one in your family will have any “secrets” quite like Heshel in Not Me! Have you read anything really good lately?
