Cyrla, a young half Jewish Girl is living with her cousin Anneke’s family in Nazi occupied Holland. Neighbors are beginning to whisper and Cyrla does not know how much longer she will be safe. Anneke and Cyrla look almost identical, except for the fact that Anneke is pregnant. When Anneke is admiited to The Lebensborn, a maternity home for girls carrying German babies, Cyrla and Anneke decide to trade places in order to protect Cyrla. I just want to warn everyone that if you do not have the time to read, don’t pick up My Enemy’s Cradle !! You will not be able to put it down. I was drawn in from the very first page. I was so sorry when I finished reading this book. I hope that everyone else enjoys it as much as I did!
