If you are interested in the Salem Witch trials you will love this book.  Kathleen Kent the author of The Heretic’s Daughter is a tenth generation descendent of Martha Carrier, the first women to be hanged as a witch in Salem. The story is told from the perspective of 1o year old Sara, the daughter of Martha Carrier. What a horrific time in history. This was a fascinating read and a wonderful discussion book.
