This is really interesting! I always thought that Target chose their books from a “Bestseller” list, but apparently sometimes it’s the other way around. Quite a lot of power for the Target book buyer!

I highly reccomend reading Sarah’s Key. Although heart wrenching and so desperate in it’s read, the author describes a time in such a fashion that you can feel the pain of the characters, actually real people. It is always a reminder to me when I feel stressed to remember what stress really is. What people endured and actually how lonely and frightening so many people’s lives were.
