Hi – great web site – I love to find book club blogs & sites. We have been meeting for 10yrs in Sept. Do read Cutting for Stone, wonderful. Also I don’t see “Same Kind of Different as Me” on your list – it’s great and inspiring. If your group is into fun try a play. We read Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, then drew characters names and acted out scenes! Other favorites “These is My Words” and “The Good Earth”. Do you ever do themes for a year, or anything else different? I will sign up to receive your updates. Thanks!

I have always loved your book selections (your movies not so much – remember when you told me to see The Magdalen Sisters?) so I will be sure to check those books out! Ok Audrey has encouraged me to go on the website so here I am! I just wanted you all to read the Space Between Us By Thrity Umbiger…it was such a great book that I did not want to finish! We are reading Infidel in our AZ Book Club so will keep you posted how that one is. I did hear that No Room For Doubt (don’t know author) was excellent. Just a sideline 72 and sunshine today in AZ so enjoy the snow!! Nancy

I read The Secret Life of CeCe Wilkes and enjoyed it very much. I agree that the author has a simplistic style, but it makes for an easy read – the plot is very interesting, and keeps you turning the pages – you definitely want to find out what happens! It’s a good book for the beach or an airplane. Or just a rainy evening
